1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Green Batteries mobile application or web platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Green Batteries provides an EV battery-swap platform that allows registered drivers to locate swap stations, exchange depleted batteries for charged ones, manage subscriptions, and track swap history. Station operators can manage inventory, process swaps, and monitor earnings through the platform.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
• One account per individual; sharing accounts is prohibited
• You must promptly update your information if it changes

4. Battery Swap Services

4.1 Swap Process

Battery swaps are conducted at authorized Green Batteries stations. You must present a valid QR code or account verification to initiate a swap. Each swap is recorded and billed according to your active plan or per-swap pricing.

4.2 Battery Handling

• Batteries provided through the Service remain the property of Green Batteries
• You must handle batteries with reasonable care and use them only in compatible vehicles
• Tampering with, disassembling, or modifying batteries is strictly prohibited
• You are liable for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification

4.3 Vehicle Compatibility

You must ensure your registered vehicle is compatible with our battery system. Green Batteries is not responsible for damage arising from use of batteries in incompatible or modified vehicles.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscription plans are billed in advance for the selected period
• Per-swap fees are deducted from your wallet balance at the time of swap
• Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except as required by law
• Prices may change with reasonable notice; active subscriptions honour the committed rate
• Failed payments may result in suspension of swap privileges

6. Station Operator Terms

Station operators using the platform agree to:

• Maintain station equipment in safe working condition
• Process swaps accurately and promptly through the platform
• Follow Green Batteries guidelines for battery charging and storage
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Providing false or misleading information
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineering, copying, or modifying the application
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service infrastructure
• Reselling or commercially exploiting batteries or swap services without authorization

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Green Batteries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of swap stations, battery availability, or error-free operation of the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app. Upon termination, any outstanding balances or obligations remain enforceable.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
